Read MoreAs a person from the Midwest, I can’t get enough of the Grand Canyon. Some folks who come from more scenic areas may find it boring and touristy, but not me. I can’t blame the tourists, because even though I live in AZ now, I am one. I’ll happily brave the crowds to get a glimpse of this wonder.

It’s so much fun to make a sneaky plan with one partner and carry it out and watch the other partner be completely shocked and elated. Read MoreUmmm can you say GORGEOUS?! I don’t think I’ll ever get over Canyon Lake. I’ve always been a lake person (pools are too manufactured and chemically, oceans are too salty and terrifying, but lakes are perfect), so to see and swim in such a beautiful lake really filled my cup. I’ve never seen anything like it.
