This is a special one, y’all. Ugh. I love proposals so much. I’ve done a handful of them now and they are always perfect. It’s so much fun to make a sneaky plan with one partner and carry it out and watch the other partner be completely shocked and elated. And of course, I was BEYOND stoked to do this at the Grand Canyon of all places!! I am so thankful that Nate brought me back to this magical place to capture his proposal to Brittany.

Nate and I planned out all the details a couple weeks in advance. They were coming out on a road trip from Texas. It would happen at sunrise. I got there a day early and scouted a spot for them to stand and sneakily sent him videos of how to get there. Then I hung out a little ways back from the spot pretending to just enjoy the sunrise, waiting for Nate to make his move. Of course, some morning fog rolled in nearly the second they got there. 😂 Made the view slightly less epic, but… it’s still the Grand Canyon. 👌

So, Nate gave his little speech and then got down on one knee and of course, SHE SAID YES! And I captured it from my sneaky little perch. It was so cute, and he could not have chosen a more perfect spot to do it. I then gave them some champagne to pop (yum, who doesn’t love champagne at 6am?), and we took some more photos around Grandview Point. It was perfect. ❤
