A fun and silly engagement session with two gorgeous goofballs under the trees of Madera Canyon

Honey & Daniel

About 45 minutes South of Tucson are the Santa Rita Mountains, which includes the campgrounds and picnic areas of Madera Canyon. This part of Coronado National Forest has a lot of greenery, tree cover, and little swimming holes, and can be a great escape from the heat of the desert.

Honey and Daniel went here on one of their first dates, and it remains one of their favorite places. So of course they chose it for their Tucson engagement session as well!

These two are my favorite kind of people - major goofs who march to the beat of their own drum. As you can tell from these photos, they are a lot of fun, very silly, but also so in love and just happy to be together. I loved working with them and I can’t wait to photograph their Tucson wedding in 2027 as well.
