…I don’t know about you, but this saying rubs me entirely the wrong way.
If a wedding isn’t for the couple, then what is it?! A wedding is a celebration of you and your relationship. It shouldn’t have to be about entertaining hundreds of guests. You shouldn’t feel obligated to invite your entire family or your parents’ friends for formality’s sake. You shouldn’t feel pressured make a spectacle out of this incredibly personal moment you are sharing with your partner.
Maybe you’ve been feeling this way. Maybe you have seen all the traditional wedding bells-and-whistles and decided…
“Nah, not for me.”
And that is 1000% fair.
Eloping has become a much more widely-accepted option. However, it’s not always accepted as the best option for some people. Some folks still see the big traditional wedding as the right way to do things, and they only offer elopements as a side option with only a few hours of coverage. Say your vows, take a few portraits, the end.
To that I say:
hell nope.
Eloping is valid and it absolutely can be your best option. You deserve to have the all-day adventurous wedding of your dreams, with as much or as little tradition as you see fit.

It truly can be so much more than “vows, portraits, the end.” When you look back on your wedding day, what do you want to remember? When you show the photos to your loved ones, what do you want them to see?

30-day full gallery turnaround
This gallery will include all the edited images available for high-res download by you and whoever you share it with. It won’t expire for 2 years – you and your loved ones can view, download, and order prints from this gallery right up until then. You will also have printing rights, which means you can print with me, or elsewhere. Totally up to you.

There are a lot of editing trends out there in the photography world. They may come and go, but the style of my images remains timeless. I edit your images with true-to-life colors and lighting so that you when you look at them, you see exactly what that day looked like, as well as the natural beauty of our earth. Maybe a bit of extra warmth for that magic touch. 😉 But your photos will match your memories.

An engagement session before your wedding, a surprise proposal to your love, a fun activity on your honeymoon, celebrating your anniversary or your upcoming baby… or, my favorite reason: JUST ‘CAUSE.

I have become quite popular for sessions (especially proposals) at the Grand Canyon’s South Rim! I absolutely love working there, but it’s sadly not quite in my backyard.
Grand Canyon sessions start at $700
which includes a travel fee for mileage and lodging

She even offered us the option to split our photo session into two different locations, so we did a sunrise desert photo shoot and a sunset mountain one. She picked the locations and told us where to go, which made it easy for us. During the pictures, Lucy made us feel very comfortable, which is impressive because it can feel a bit awkward posing for the camera. 😂 She told us how to pose which was a relief for us, and the end results were amazing!
